Gregory Carraway, Founder & Owner
Greg founded SilverBack because moving day matters. It's a stressful, vulnerable moment in someone's life, and he believes it deserves better than the late arrivals, mystery fees, and broken promises that too often define the industry. He shows up to every job with a positive attitude and looks for the best in every situation — the calm ones and the chaotic ones alike.
Highly trained and holding multiple industry certifications, Greg brings a meticulous eye to every move — from how a piece is wrapped to how a quote is calculated. He's deeply community-focused and passionate about helping others, and that ethic carries into his approach to customer service: clear communication, careful work, and an honest answer to every question.
Today, SilverBack handles three kinds of moves with the same standard of care:
- Residential — every Houston neighborhood, apartments to estates.
- Commercial — office and retail relocations on tight timelines.
- Secure-site — TWIC-credentialed work for refineries, chemical plants, ports, and government facilities. A specialization most movers can't legally offer.
Greg personally runs every job and answers every call. We size the crew to fit the move — for bigger relocations we bring in seasoned movers from our trusted network. Whether it's two of us or six, every person on the job is vetted, trained, and held to the SilverBack standard. The estimate we send is the price you pay.
